I just bought a set of retired yallow BBs from eBay. Does anyone have these? If so do they work really well? I think they're really neat, though the yellow is a little different.
I am trying to get a bedroom and living room set for my dolls...And this is my first purchase.
ThanksInAdvance

congrats. I want a set. They are so pricy I keep getting over bid. They are very cute. I think there is a wardrobe that matches it.

Congratulations on the bunk beds! We don't have the BB so I can't help you there. I was surprised to read that they are rather expensive these days. Last year (or 2 years ago?) they were very inexpensive. Like everything else AG, whatever is retired increases in value.
Mollygirl, I think the armoire you are thinking of is the wooden one that matches the yellow trundle bed. I think the bunk beds only had a night stand and "nighttime necessities."

The bunkbeds were released in 1995, but in 1996 AG came out with a huge purple metal locker that was displayed in the same page spread as the bunkbeds. I think this could be either a school locker or a closet/locker, depending on your preference.

I recently bought the bunk beds too off of ebay. I lucked out and got it for a great price BIN complete with the sleeping bag/comforters. It's part of my dd's Xmas present. I bought ballerina bedding sets from a seller on ebay to use with it. The black and white stripe isn't girlie enough for me. I felt that it would match Marisol's theme. I can't wait for her to see it, she's been dying for a bunk bed!

I bought the bunkbeds a while back for a great relatively cheap price. But they are going for alot more now. I do not have the sleeping bags for it though, only the mattresses and pillows. I made some cute bedcovers, pillows and blankets out of a pink sheet and table mats with a lovely quilt/lace design. My first attempt at making something for my daughter's doll and I don't even have a sewing machine! If I can do it, anyone can (I'm very needle and thread challenged, LOL!). The bunkbeds are very nice and easy to put together/take apart. They are completely made of metal, not cheap plastic parts.

No offense, but I don't like the yellow-coloring of them.It wouldn't go good with my room.I wish Ag still had these in a different color.

I was a little umm with the color, would've prefered black. I don't have the comforters, but the mattresses and pillows. I am going to make them bedspreads, maybe in black... I don't know. Don't worry I'm sort of sewing handicapped myself. I see people breexing along, making nice dresses with out any pantern...
